Marlins' Manage Ozzie Guillen Not Worried About His Job Security

Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Earlier in the week, FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal reported that Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen might be fired at seasons end. Although, Guillen doesn't seem too concerned about those reports.

"Ha. Ha. Ha," Guillen said when asked about the report. "That's the last thing going through my mind every day, if I'm going to have a job next year. I'm going to have a job. I don't know if it's managing the Marlins, but I will have a job. I don't know if it's managing in the big leagues, but I will have a job."

Guillen's first season with the Marlins has not gone how many predicted. The team formerly known as the Florida Marlins opened up their new ballpark this season in hopes of drawing a new generation of fans to see the team. This season, the team ranks 18th in Major League Baseball in attendance which is lower then they had hoped for.

Over the offseason, the team went out and signed players like Jose Reyes, Heath Bell, and Mark Buehrle. The team's offseason spending didn't turn out that well.

The team is in last place in the NL East division and have the 27th ranked offense as well as the 20th ranked team ERA.
