Michael Bourn Signs with Indians

Free agent outfielder Michael Bourn agreed to a four-year, $48 million contract with the team on Monday. The deal is contingent upon Bourn passing a physical later in the week.
Bourn played last season with the Atlanta Braves where he was named to the All-Star team and hit .274 with nine home runs and 42 stolen bases.
The New York Mets were also reportedly in the running for Bourn's services, according to a league source.
The Indians have undergone an overhaul this offseason, bringing in former Red Sox manager Terry Francona to run the club, and signing free agent Nick Swisher to a four-year $56 million contract last month.
The Indians have lost 90 games in three of the last four seasons.
