Nets Brawl With Celtics, Get Road Win

Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo was among three players ejected during Brooklyn's 95-83 win over Boston on Wednesday night at the TD Garden.

The fracas started when Brooklyn's Kris Humphries fouled Kevin Garnett to the floor on a drive to the hoop in the second quarter. Rondo took offense, and pushed Humpries near the crowd underneath the basket, sparking off the fight. When the dust settled, Rondo, Humphries and the Nets' Gerald Wallace were all ejected.

"All that stuff, that's not toughness," Celtics (8-7) coach Doc Rivers said. "That foul was a hard foul. It was an unnecessary foul. The play was over and then he pushed him down in the air. But I think that's what they think of us: They think they can push you around."

Because of the ejection, Rondo's streak of consecutive games with 10 or more assists ended at 37 games -- the second-longest in NBA history.

Joe Johnson had 18 points to pace the Nets (10-4), who made 10 three-pointers in the win.
