Norv Turner on the Hot Seat in San Diego

San Diego Chargers/NFL(SAN DIEGO) -- The San Diego Chargers are in a tailspin, losers of their last six games. The latest defeat came this past Sunday: a 16-13 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos. The Bolts had a chance to snap out of their funk, but kicker Nick Novak missed a 53-yard, game-winning field goal late in overtime. The Chargers (4-7) are now tied for last place in the AFC West with the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I’m not oblivious to any of that,” Chargers head coach Norv Turner said of fans calling for his ouster. “But it’s not something that is going to be an issue for me and I’m not going to talk about it over the next five weeks.”

San Diego’s six-game losing streak is their longest in a decade.

Up next on the Chargers schedule: a Monday-night showdown in Jacksonville against the Jaguars next week.
