(LOS ANGELES) -- The Los Angeles Lakers have all of their pieces in place, but still aren't winning.
Ty Lawson had 21 points, Danilo Gallinari chipped in with 20 and the Denver Nuggets got by the Lakers, 112-105 at Staples Center on Sunday night.
The Lakers (15-18) have lost three games in a row and four of their last five, and couldn't win despite a 24 point, 26 rebound effort from center Dwight Howard.
Los Angeles also committed 18 turnovers.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets (20-16) have won five of seven, and got a three-pointer with less than a minute left from Gallinari to silence a Lakers rally.
Kobe Bryant had 29 points for the Lakers, and hit a couple of late three-pointers to keep the score close, but Andre Miller and Gallinari hit free throws to ice the game.
