Oakland A's Sweep Cleveland Indians With A 12-7 Victory

Brian D. Kersey/Getty Images(CLEVELAND) -- Coco Crisp, Cliff Pennington, Josh Reddick and Josh Donaldson each homered for the Athletics as Oakland defeated the Cleveland Indians on Thursday 12-7 to sweep their four-game series.

A’s starter Jarrod Parker (9-7) went five innings, allowing five earned runs on eight hits, while Indians starter Justin Masterson (10-12) lasted just four innings, giving up eight earned runs on eight hits.

The A’s are tied with the Baltimore Orioles for the top spot in the American League wild card standings.
