Rams Fired Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo and GM Billy Devaney

Jared Wickerham/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- As a result of a 2-14 season, the St. Louis Rams are cleaning house in hopes of rebuilding their franchise once again. The team has fired head coach Steve Spagnuolo as well as general manager Billy Devaney.

Spagnuolo went just 10-38 in three seasons as the Rams head coach. He led the team to a 7-9 season last year, but he won a combined three games in his two other seasons in St. Louis. Meanwhile, Devaney had served as the team's general manager since December 2008. The team's record since Devaney took over is just 12-52.

"I would personally like to thank Steven and Billy for their dedication to the St. Louis Rams over the past few seasons," owner Stan Kroenke said in a statement. "This was a difficult decision for many reasons. We have tremendous respect for them as people and professionals. No one individual is to blame for this disappointing season and we all must ourselves accountable."

The Rams will have the second overall draft choice in the upcoming Draft.
