Ray Lewis Plays Final Game in Baltimore

Rob Carr/Getty Images(BALTIMORE) -- The Ravens won Ray Lewis’ final home game of the year on Sunday after they defeated the Indianapolis Colts 24-9.

Lewis announced he would be retiring once the playoffs concluded earlier this week and took a victory lap around the stadium to thank the fans for supporting him during his 17 NFL seasons.

"I had nothing planned," said Lewis after the win.  "My total focus was to come in and play my heart out and get my team a win.  Everything else just came with it."

Lewis led the Ravens defense with 13 tackles and spoke about seeing his family in the end zone after the game.

"Probably no greater moment than seeing my kids, my mom, my dad, my family, you know right there at the end of that end zone," said the 13-time Pro Bowler.  "That was when I lost it emotionally because I knew everything I’ve always done has been for them."

The Ravens will travel to Denver to take on the Broncos next weekend.

"They’re well rested, we saw them earlier in the year," said Lewis of the rematch with Denver.  "We’re really looking forward to it."
