Serena Williams Cruises Into Quarterfinals Of The U.S. Open

Julian Finney/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Fourteen-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams shut down 82nd-ranked Andrea Hlavackova in the fourth round of the U.S. Open on Monday, 6-0, 6-0. It’s the first time in Williams’ career at the U.S. Open that she did not lose a game.

The 30-year-old Williams had 31 winners and seven unforced errors.

The two-time U.S. Open champion will take on 12th-seeded Ana Ivanovic in the quarterfinals.
