Spurs Romp Heat 113-77 for 2-1 Series Lead

Christian Petersen/Getty Images(SAN ANTONIO) -- The San Antonio Spurs routed the Miami Heat 113-77 on Tuesday night in what was one of the biggest blowouts in NBA Finals history.

The Spurs hit a Finals-record 16 three-pointers on their way to a 2-1 series lead.  13 of those three-pointers came from two NBA journeymen who seemed to have found a permanent home in San Antonio.

Danny Green and Gary Neal combined to score 51 points, eight more than the Heat's star trio of LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh put together.

"Those guys shot incredibly," Duncan said. "Gave us the breathing room when we needed it."

James struggled mightily for the Heat.  He finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds but missed 11 of his first 13 shots and didn't attempt a free-throw for the first time in his Heat playoff career.

"Honestly, I just have to play better," James said. "I can't have a performance like tonight and expect to win."

The one concern for the Spurs is that Tony Parker seemed to have tweaked his hamstring in the fourth quarter.  He left the game with ten minutes remaining and did not return.  He is scheduled to undergo an MRI Wednesday.

Game 4 is Thursday night in San Antonio.
