Reliever Matt Lindstrom Activated from DL

Major League Baseball(SEATTLE) -- Reliever Matt Lindstrom was activated from the 15-day disabled list by the Chicago White Sox Tuesday.

The 34-year-old Lindstrom injured his ankle on May 19 and had surgery on May 23.

Lindstrom just finished a five game rehab stint, during which he pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed seven earned runs for Triple-A Charlotte. With Lindstrom coming back, the White Sox optioned reliever Eric Surkamp to Charlotte.

Before injuring his ankle, Lindstrom pitched 19 innings for the Sox this season, compiling a 2-1 record, 3.32 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, nine walks, 11 strikeouts and six saves.

Dodgers Activate Matt Kemp

(LOS ANGELES) -- Outfielder Matt Kemp was activated from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday and played in the Los Angeles Dodgers' win over the San Francisco Giants later that night.

Kemp hit fifth and started in center field for the Dodgers, going 1-for-4 with a run scored.

The 28-year-old Kemp missed the previous 24 games with a strained right hamstring.

Before getting called up to the Dodgers, Kemp played three rehab games for Triple-A Albuquerque, where he went 2-for-11 with six strikeouts.

Before he was placed on the disabled list, Kemp was hitting .251 with two home runs and 17 RBIs.

Hanley Ramirez Activated from DL

Dilip Vishwanat/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez was activated from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday.
Ramirez has been out since May 3 after suffering a strained left hamstring in San Francisco. Ramirez also missed the first 24 games of the season after tearing a thumb ligament in the finals of the World Baseball Classic in March.
The 29-year-old former All-Star went 0-for-3 with an RBI in his return to lineup Tuesday night, in a Dodgers 9-7 win over the San Diego Padres.
                                                                                                          
To make room for Ramirez, the Dodgers placed left-handed pitcher Chris Capuano on the 15-day disabled list with a left shoulder latissimus strain. That move is retroactive to May 30.
