Packers Clinch NFC North With Win Against Bears

David Banks/Getty Images(CHICAGO) -- The Green Bay Packers walked into Soldier Field prepared for battle and walked out NFC North champions.

The Packers won the division for the second-straight year by defeating the Chicago Bears 21-13 on Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdown passes, all to James Jones to help Green Bay improve to 10-4 this year.

Clay Matthews led the way for the Green Bay defense with two sacks of Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.  They held the Bears to 190 total yards, their third-lowest total of the season.

Brandon Marshall, who was really set on beating the Bears scored a touchdown in the first quarter to put the Bears up 7-0.  The Packers then came right back and had a touchdown, interception, and another touchdown in a three-minute span.

After beginning the season 7-1, the Bears (8-6) have won just one of their past six games and are now in the middle of a crowded Wild-Card race in the NFC.

Bears Stomp Vikings 28-10 In Cutler's Return

Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images(CHICAGO) -- Jay Cutler returned from a one-game absence and helped lead the Chicago Bears to a 28-10 stomp-down of the Minnesota Vikings.

Cutler completed 23 of 31 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown, and receiver Brandon Marshall caught 12 balls for 92 yards in the win.

"Jay Cutler was outstanding with his play coming back after a week off," Bears head coach Lovie Smith said. "Brandon Marshall caught a lot of balls. Just like what the offense was able to do. It didn't even have a lot of yards but it just kept us where we needed to be in the football game.

Cutler missed a game while recovering from a concussion.

The win did come at a cost for the Bears. Devin Hester, Matt Forte, Charles Tillman and two offensive guards went down with injuries.

The Bears (8-3) host the Seattle Seahawks next weekend, while the Vikings (6-5) take a trip to Green Bay to play the Packers.

Bears Force Five Turnovers, Crush Titans 51-20

Frederick Breedon/Getty Images(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -- The Chicago Bears scored on special teams, defense and offense while forcing five turnovers Sunday on their way to crushing the Tennessee Titans (3-6), 51-20.

Brian Urlacher had a pick-six and Charles Tillman forced four fumbles in the victory.

"We've been waiting for Brian to step up like that. Outstanding job by him...touchdown...caused fumble...recovered fumble," Bears head coach Lovie Smith said. "The defense was really a frenzy out there taking the ball away. That's what we are. That's what the guys believe they can do every play. And that's the mindset."

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler threw three touchdown passes, all to receiver Brandon Marshall.

The Bears head home next weekend to take on the Houston Texans, while the Titans go to Miami to take on the Dolphins.

Bears Rally Past Panthers, 23-22

Dilip Vishwanat/Getty Images(CHICAGO) -- The Chicago Bears (6-1) rallied from behind after being down late in the fourth quarter and beat the Carolina Panthers (1-6), 23-22, after Robbie Gould hit a 41-yard field goal as time expired on Sunday.

After being in the spotlight all week, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton drove his team down the field late in the fourth, which set up a Justin Medlock 45-yard field goal to give Carolina a 22-20 lead with 2:27 left.  Bears quarterback Jay Cutler answered with a 55-yard drive, which set up the game winning field goal by Gould.

"We started off rough but we kept fighting," said Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall.  "That's the great thing about this team."

Newton finished 20 of 39 for 314 yards and threw two interceptions.

"Had plenty of times where we could of scored touchdowns, missed throws, opportunities in the run game," said Newton after the loss.  "Here we are stuck in the same situation."
