Krejic's Hat Trick Powers Bruins Past Leafs in OT

Steve Russell/Toronto Star via Getty Images(TORONTO) -- David Krejic lit up the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Boston Bruins 27-year-old center scored three times, including the game-winner 13:06 into overtime, leading the Bruins to a 4-3 win over the Leafs Wednesday. The win puts Boston up 3-1 in their first round playoff series.

Krejic has dominated this postseason. He now has 10 points in four games this postseason.

This comes on the heels of last season's postseason, where Krejic had only three points in seven games against the Washington Captials. The Bruins went on to lose that first round series.

"If he's got one weakness, he's really hard on himself at times when things aren't going well," Boston coach Claude Julien said. "But when you see him playing like that I'm not sure you want to call it a weakness. When he does find his game he's a pretty dominant player."

Zdeno Chara had four assists and Patrice Bergeron scored in the Bruins win.

Cody Frason, Joffrey Lupol and Clarke McArthur scored for the Leafs in the loss.

Game 5 is in Boston Friday. The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
