Jason Merritt/Getty Images(MELBOURNE, Australia) -- For the fourth straight time, The United States has won the Presidents Cup, beating the International team, 19-15. Tiger Woods sealed the victory for the Americans with a 4-3 victory over Aaron Baddeley.

“I played well this week and very pleased with the progress I made so far,” Woods said of his performance. “This is an unbelievable team. I been on a variety of different teams over the years and this is been a great atmosphere to be around.”

Playing at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia, the International team couldn't kick it into second gear. Entering play on Sunday,  they were trailing the Americans, 13-9, a deficit which proved to be to huge to overcome.

Americans Lead 13-9 Heading Into Final Round At Melbourne

(MELBOURNE, Australia) -- The American team built up a commanding lead after three rounds at Royal Melbourne on Saturday morning during the foursomes matches.

Tiger Woods finally recorded a point and the team now leads 13-9 heading into the final round on Sunday.

The temperature dropped but did not stop the Americans from rallying past the International team who captured the final two matches on Saturday.

"We do have a very nice lead but in reality we needed those two points really bad and they got them for us," said team captain Fred Couples. "This team was rallying and playing some great golf in that junk but our guys somehow won the last two groups."

The rally came when Hunter Mahan holed a 20-foot birdie putt on the 17th right after Jason Day knocked in an even bigger birdie putt, this gave the team of Mahan and Bill Haas the win.

Following that was Jim Furyk who finished off the day with a clutch bunker shot on the 16th hole. His teammate, Nick Watney provided a par on the final hole and that ko'ed Adam Scott and Ernie Els, giving the Americans a 1-up decision.

The final round will consist of 12 singles matches on Sunday.

Americans lead 7-5 through Two Rounds at Presidents Cup

WILLIAM WEST/AFP/Getty Images(MELBOURNE, Australia) -- The Americans lead 7-5 through two rounds of the Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne.

Tiger Woods is still yet to record a point and is 0-2 for the first time ever at the event.  Woods and Dustin Johnson fell to Aaron Baddley and Jason Day on the 18th hole on Friday, which gave the International team a split of fourball matches.

One huge factor for all who played on Friday were the winds along the course.

"The wind was very difficult, it was manipulating our ball and it was hard to use the wind out there," Jim Furyk told the Golf Channel.  Both Furyk and Phil Mickelson remain perfect through two rounds in the tournament.

Rough Start for Woods and Stricker at Presidents Cup

WILLIAM WEST/AFP/Getty Images(MELBOURNE, Austrailia) -- Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker tied the record for the biggest loss in Presidents Cup history on Thursday morning.

The USA team lost 7 and 6 to the International team of Adam Scott and K.J. Choi.  This marked the biggest loss for Woods in any format for his playing career.  Scott and Choi's dominance also tied a record for biggest margin of victory in the cups history.

"They got off to a quick start and we just couldn't keep up," said Woods in an interview with the Golf Channel.

The Americans still found a way to salvage Woods and Strickers poor performance and lead 4-2 after the opening session.
