Ragan Wins Sprint Cup Race at Talladega

Sean Gardner/Getty Images(TALLADEGA, Ala.) -- David Ragan won the Aaron's 499 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday.

Ragan was pushed past Carl Edwards by Front Row Motorsports teammate David Gilliland on the last lap of a green-white checkered-flag finish. The race finished four laps past its scheduled distance.

Carl Edwards, the pole sitter, thought he had the win.

"I saw the Ford freight train coming with David and David," Edwards said. "I didn't know where they came from. David did everything but wreck me down the back straightaway. I mean I blocked him as hard as I could and he did everything right and he got the win."

All of this took place after rain stopped the race for 3 hours and 36 minutes.

Before that, a 16-car crash occurred on turn 1 of lap 43.

Denny Hamlin, who missed the last four races after suffering a compression fracture in his lower back, returned to the track and raced 23 laps before being replaced at the first caution by Joe Gibbs Racing partner Brian Vickers. Vickers raced the No. 11 into 34th place, earning Hamlin 10 points.

Jimmie Johnson, who finished the race in fifth, leads the Sprint Cup standings by 41 points over Carl Edwards.

Kyle Busch Wins Fourth Straight At Richmond

Tom Pennington/Getty Images for NASCAR(RICHMOND, Va.) -- It was a clean sweep for the Busch brothers at Richmond International Speedway this weekend.

On Friday, Kurt Busch won the Nationwide race and his brother, Kyle, finished off the weekend with his fourth straight victory at Richmond International Speedway in the Sprint Cup race. The victory snaps a 22-race winless streak for Busch.

"Is that some sort of record? I'm hoping it is," Busch said. "It means so much that we're able to come to this place every time and know that we can have a decent car."

Dale Earnhardt Jr. almost snapped his winless streak but finished in second.

"Really happy to come home with second. We were running about fifth all night, and just got lucky on that restart to be on the inside and get a couple spots," he said. "We just kind of got lucky there at the end on a couple things to gain a couple extra spots."

Tony Stewart rounded out the top three.

Tony Stewart: Pressure Is On Edwards

Chris Graythen/Getty Images(MOORESVILLE, N.C.) -- The NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup heads to Phoenix this weekend for the second-to-last race of the season.  Tony Stewart has won four Chase races, including the last two, and sits just three points behind leader Carl Edwards.

"We don't have anything to lose.  I feel like all the pressure is on them right now trying to figure out how to not lose the championship," Stewart, referring to Edwards and his team, told ABC News Radio.  "We've kind of got him backed in a corner a little bit.  To go out and have the last two weekends and run like we've ran, I think it's a reality check that we mean business and we're here to stay and it's not going to be easy for him."

The final race of the Chase is Nov. 20 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
