Buccaneers' Josh Freeman Will Stop Shooting During Season

Marc Serota/Getty Images(TAMPA, Fla.) -- It looks like Tampa Bay Bucaneers quarterback Josh Freeman's issues with his right throwing thumb can be linked back to, in part, his love for guns. Freeman originally suffered a sprained thumb during the team's week seven game against the Chicago Bears. During the team's bye week following that game, Freeman cut the same thumb while shooting at a local firing range.

"In hindsight, it wasn't the smartest decision," Freeman said on Wednesday. "Gotta learn from it. No more shooting guns in season."

Even though Freeman says the injury hasn't affected him, the 23-year old quarterback is not having the kind of season for which Buccaneer fans were hoping. He's tied for nineteenth in the NFL with 12 passing touchdowns, and second in the NFL with 16 interceptions. The Buccaneers are just 4-7 this season and third in the NFC South Division.

Packers Remain Undefeated

Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images(GREEN BAY, Wis.) -- The Green Bay Packers (10-0) continue to roll through the 2011 season.  Dating back to last year the men from Lambeau are now (16-0).

They took care of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6), 35-26 on Sunday.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasn't perfect but found a way to lead his team past the Buccaneers when it counted.  He connected with his wide receiver Jordy Nelson on a 40 yard touchdown pass with 2:55 left in the game to put the Packers up eight.

He did throw for 299 yards with three touchdowns but still felt he could be better in certain spots.

"I'm just frustrated," Rodgers said. "I didn't throw the ball very well. I'm not trying to be ridiculously humble right now, I'm just frustrated. The ball wasn't coming out the way I wanted it to today."

The Packers will head to Detroit to take on the Lions (7-3) on Thanksgiving.

NFL Preview: Buccaneers (4-5) @ Packers (9-0)

Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) will travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers (9-0) on Sunday.

Tampa Bay comes into the game having lost three in a row trying to get their 2011 season back on track and contend for a playoff spot.

The Packers are looking to extend their winning streak to 10 and continue their best season start since 1962.

"Our goal is to win the division and get a home playoff game, but you can't help but be excited that you're (9-0) and in the prospects of going (10-0) this weekend," Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers told ESPN Radio when asked about running the table in 2011.

The Packers are thinking big-picture and would trade a perfect season for back-to-back Super Bowl rings.

Kickoff is set for 1 PM Eastern Time.

Haynesworth Heading To Tampa

Scott Boehm/Getty Images(TAMPA, Fla.) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have claimed defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth off waivers.

The two-time Pro Bowler was let go by the New England Patriots on Tuesday after recording just three tackles in six games this season.

The Bucs are hoping Haynesworth can fill a void created on the defensive line after losing Gerald McCoy for the season with a torn right bicep.

Buccaneers Host Bears in London (TEST TEST TEST)

(LONDON) -- The (4-2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be making their second appearance in the NFL International Series game in London on Sunday.  They'll be the home team hosting the (3-3) Chicago Bears.

The last time the Buccaneers made the trip to London was in 2009 against the New England Patriots, they enjoyed the trip but not the 35-7 loss at Wembley Stadium.  Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris said, "We're road warriors, you go on the road and you have to go play.  We're out in London and enjoying the people, the town, and everything that is going to happen."

Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher admitted he didn't really know anything about the London culture, "I'm so not cultured when it comes to that stuff.  I'm going to have fun in my room I guess watching TV."

Kickoff is set for 1 PM Eastern Time.
