Bucks in Playoffs for First Time Since 2010

Mike McGinnis/Getty Images(MILWAUKEE) -- Monta Ellis had 22 point, nine assists and six steals, leading the Milwaukee Bucks past the Toronto Raptors 100-83 Saturday night, and clinching the Bucks the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

"Pretty nice to be able to clinch when you have six games left so you can start getting ready for whoever your going to play against," Bucks head coach Jim Boylan said when asked about his team making the playoffs. "It's a great feeling. The guys have worked very hard and it's very satisfying to us."

Brandon Jennings had 16 points and seven assists for the Bucks, who head to the playoffs for the first time in three years.

Milwaukee held Toronto to 36 percent shooting for the game and turned the Raptors over 18 times.

If the playoffs were to start today, Milwaukee (37-39) would take on Miami, but things could change. The Bucks could still catch Boston (39-37) for the No. 7 seed.

Memphis Grizzlies/NBA(MEMPHIS, Tenn.) -- The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed in principle on a trade that will send small forward Rudy Gay and backup center Hamed Haddadi to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for forward Ed Davis, guard Jose Calderon and a second-round draft pick, ESPN is reporting.

The Houston Rockets selected Gay out of Connecticut with the eighth overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft.  He was dealt two weeks later to Memphis along with forward Stromile Swift for forward Shane Battier.

In 479 career games with the Grizzlies, the 26-year-old Gay is averaging 17.9 points and 5.8 rebounds.
