Tony Romo: We're 'Going to Win a Super Bowl Next Year'

Al Messerschmidt/Getty Images(IRVING, Texas) -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo likes his teams chances headed into next season.

Romo, who was receiving the Nancy Lieberman Lifetime Achievement Award at the Dream Ball Gala in Dallas recently, said that the team is "going to win a Super Bowl next year," ESPN Cowboys reporter Todd Archer reports.

Romo said he wants to win a Super Bowl so bad for the Jones family, teammate Jason Witten, and head coach Jason Garrett.

"I literally want to win it so bad for them, for the people around me who have helped me," Romo said. "They've allowed me to achieve my dreams and my goals. Without them, I'm not there, I promise you. I'm not where I'm at right now and I'm not going where I'm going."

Romo led the Cowboys to the playoffs this past season, but their goal of a Super Bowl fell short after they lost to the Packers in the divisional round.
