Virginia Sinks (18) Pittsburgh on Final-Second Shot

G Fiume/Maryland Terrapins/Getty Images(PITTSBURGH) -- Malcom Brogdon's 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left in the game vaults Virginia past No. 18 Pittsburgh 48-45 Sunday.

Brogdon finishes with a game-high 16 points as Virginia (17-5, 8-1 ACC) won its fifth straight.

The game was tight throughout with neither team ever holding more than a three-point lead.

"We came up with big stops," Virginia head coach Tony Bennett said. "That was a hard-fought game, not a lot of easy looks. Each team thought maybe they'd have a chance to separate but then the other team would make a play. It stayed tight. You knew it would come down to a score and a stop."

Freshman Jamel Artis scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Pittsburgh (18-4, 6-3 ACC), which has now lost two straight.
