(ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.) -- Buffalo Bills rookie receiver Sammy Watkins re-injured his ribs in the teams' final preseason game Thursday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Watkins had to leave the game after being hit by Pittsburgh linebacker Ashlee Palmer during a play in the first quarter.
Watkins, who the Bills selected with the fourth overall pick in this year's draft, had previously bruised his ribs on Aug. 16.
The 6-foot-1, 205 pound Watkins had 101 receptions for 1,464 yards and 12 touchdowns during his final season at Clemson.
