Will Lucas Pitches a No-Hitter at Little League World Series

Rob Carr/Getty Images(SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.) -- The year of the no-hitter continues, but this time it's a Little Leaguer. Will Lucas, 12, tossed a no-hitter, leading Fairfield, Connecticut to a 4-0 victory over New Castle, Indiana, in the Little League World Series Monday night.

"It feels great," Lucas said. "Just tried to throw strikes, and let them put it in play. I'm real excited right now."

Lucas finished the night with 13 strike outs and helped his cause at the plate by smacking a two-run single in the fifth.

The win eliminates Indiana and sets Connecticut up for a rematch with California Tuesday night. California won the previous matchup 6-4.
