Wisconsin Rolls, Clinches Berth In Title Game

Michael Hickey/Getty Images(BLOOMINGTON, Ind.) -- The Wisconsin Badgers ran the ball, and ran it often against Indiana. It was sure successful.

Wisconsin rushed for 564 yards and five touchdowns on the ground en route to a 62-14 triumph over Indiana on Saturday.

The Badgers (7-3) set a Memorial Stadium record for opponent rushing yards and set a school record for themselves in the process. Montee Ball had three touchdowns and 198 yards while James White gained 161 yards on the ground and had two touchdowns of his own.

Ball now has 77 career touchdowns, which puts him all alone in second place on the all-time FBS touchdown list.

With the win, Wisconsin clinched a spot in the Big Ten championship game next month and will have a chance to win their third straight conference title. Indiana (4-6) failed to win its third straight game and the loss diminished whatever chances they had of winning the conference title.

Wisconsin had only 41 yards passing, but didn't need it with their running backs slicing the Indiana defense. The Hoosiers also commited three turnovers, while Wisconsin had none.
