Report Ranks Tennessee Third in Nation for High Blood Pressure

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -- A new report reveals that Tennessee ranks third in the nation for high blood pressure, The Tennessean reports.

The "F as in Fat" report, released by the Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation also placed Tennessee second for physical inactivity, sixth for diabetes and 15th for obesity, the paper says.

The report also says that if Tennessee's obesity rate does not change, 63.4 percent of the state's residents will be obese by 2030, according to The Tennessean.
