Tennessee Gas Prices Dip

(NASHVILLE, T.N) -- Gas prices in Tennessee dropped significantly last week, according to AAA.

While the national average dropped 5.4 cents to $3.80 per gallon, Knoxville and Maryville saw declines between 16 and 12 cents per gallon. The price of a gallon of crude oil closed at nearly $93 last week, nearly 6 dollars lower than the week before.

The AAA report cited factors such as lower fuel demand and a jump in domestic production for the price reduction.
