(PIMA COUNTY, Ariz.) -- Pima County Sheriff's deputies say a weekend drunk driving task force effort involving multiple police agencies around the area ended up with 21 arrests, including some for "extreme" drunk driving. The sweep started at 8 p.m. Saturday and ended at four o'clock Sunday morning.
Authorities say the average blood alcohol content for the suspects was more than twice the legal limit. Three people fell into the "Extreme Drunk Driving" category with a blood alcohol content of .15 or above.
Of the 152 traffic stops during the sweep, police found three people had arranged for designated drivers.
