Giffords Moves Limbs in Recovery Process

Photo Courtesy - Tom Willett/Getty Images(TUCSON, Ariz.) -- U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords has made more progress in her recovery from last Saturday's assassination attempt.

University Medical Center doctors announced that Giffords started moving her limbs after a physical therapy session Thursday. She has been acknowledging her friends and families in visits, as well.

Doctors have said that the next breakthrough will be speech. They intend to remove her breathing tube in the next phase of recovery.
