Antonin Scalia Involved in Accident on Way to Work

(WASHINGTON) -- A driver who got a traffic ticket on his way to work yesterday may have no trouble taking his case all the way to the Supreme Court.

The U.S. Park Police issued a $70 traffic ticket to Justice Antonin Scalia, after a minor accident on the George Washington Parkway.

Police say the 75-year-old Scalia was heading south on the parkway just before 9 a.m., near the Roosevelt Bridge, when his car hit the rear of another that had stopped in traffic.  The car he hit was pushed into two others.  No one was hurt, but Scalia's car had to be towed from the scene.
