DC Council Approves 2013 Budget

(WASHINGTON) -- A preliminary approval was given to the District’s 2013 budget by the D.C. Council, ABC News Washington D.C. affiliate WJLA-TV reports.

The $9-billion dollar budget features an expansion of the District’s traffic camera enforcement program and has a measure to allow bars to extend closing by an hour on holidays.

The preliminary budget will get a final vote in June.
