(WASHINGTON) –- A former SirusXM Radio administrator will go to jail for a year for stealing over $900,000 from the District office of the satellite radio company, reports The Washington Examiner.
Brenda L. Jones, 46, is the second former worker sentenced to jail. Valencia Person, 54, was also sentenced to one year in prison for conspiracy to commit wire fraud in the theft of more than $908,000.
The two schemed together to pay themselves and not their vendors. The company investigated when vendors complained about not receiving their payments, and realized the former workers were stealing money from the company.
