Six ISAF Members Fatally Shot During Afghan Training Mission

Photo Courtesy - ISAF/Afghan National Army Sgt. Rahmudeen Nangarhari, 201st Corps Public Affairs(KABUL, Afghanistan) -- Six American members of the International Security Assistance Forces were killed in eastern Afghanistan Monday by a border police officer.

The suspect shot the service members while they were running a training mission.  The shooter was also killed in the incident.

It's the deadliest day for the U.S. in Afghanistan in more than 2 months.

Afghan officials and the ISAF are investigating the incident.
