7,000 Crocodiles Escape Farm in South Africa

File photo. iStockphoto/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- Thousands of crocodiles are on the loose in South Africa.

Some 7,000 of them escaped from a crocodile farm after the gates of a dam were opened to alleviate rising floodwaters.

Only about 2,000 have been recaptured.
