BBC Apologizes for Airing Racy Prince William 'Graffiti'

Ben Stansall - WPA Pool/Getty Images(LONDON) -- A BBC morning show was forced to apologize after accidentally airing a video from a musical comedy troupe that featured a defaced picture of new dad Prince William sporting magic-markered missing teeth, and a penis on his forehead.

During a tease for an upcoming segment for the group Barbershopera, BBC Breakfast aired a snippet of the group's humorous song, "I Could Have Married Kate," in which a jilted man laments not marrying the now Duchess of Cambridge.

The video shows him gluing his face over photos of William with Kate, but in plain view -- but apparently not to the show's producers -- was a black-and-white picture of the defaced face of the royal heir.  A viewer caught a snap of the offending image and tweeted it out.

BBC said in a statement, "This image was shown fleetingly...but we failed to spot the offending material within it.  We apologise for this."
