Canadian Raising Money Online to Capture Joseph Kony

Adam Pletts/Getty Images(JOHANNESBURG) -- Can you crowd-source the capture of a warlord?  Robert Young Pelton, a Canadian adventurer, is raising money online to pursue Joseph Kony deep into the African wilderness.

Kony is wanted on charges of mass murder and crimes against humanity.  His whereabouts are unknown, though it's believed he may be hiding somewhere in the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan or the Central African Republic.

So far, Pelton has raised $7,500 on indieGoGo, a crowd-funding site like Kickstarter. His goal is half a million.
