Dozens Injured in South Korea Subway Train Collision

iStock/Thinkstock(SEOUL, South Korea) -- As many as 170 passengers were injured Friday when two trains collided on a major subway line in Seoul, South Korea, Yonhap News Agency reports.  

No deaths have been reported, but several people were transported to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries.

Yonhap reported the accident happened when one train ran into the back of another stationary train that was stopped between stations at Sangwangsimni Station at around 3:30 p.m. local time due to mechanical problems.
