Pakistani Police Arrest Cook Accused of Poisoning 22 People

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(ISLAMABAD) -- A cook is under arrest in Pakistan after allegedly poisoning 22 people last month as part of ongoing family feud.

The incident is a sign of just how dirty Pakistani politics can get and comes after one of the family members lost in a local election to his own cousin.  The one who lost then allegedly paid the cook $500 to poison the food at his cousin's house.

In parts of Pakistan, politics have been known to divide families, leading to feuds that have lasted for decades.
