Russia Considers Cameras to Combat Drunk Airline Passengers

Fog Stock/Thinkstock(MOSCOW) -- Russian lawmakers are considering plans to install surveillance cameras inside commercial aircraft as part of the country's effort to crack down on unruly, often drunk, passengers.

Other officials have suggested banning duty free alcohol from planes because it is often consumed in flight.

The issue is not a new one, but was recently in the news after a spate of high profile incidents filmed by other passengers. One man was recently charged with attempted hijacking after he got drunk on a flight to Egypt and assaulted crew members.
