(SYDNEY) -- The theme of the children’s word search in Australia’s Sunday Telegraph was “Animals of Indonesia,” but readers quickly realized a bonus message hidden in the puzzle.
LIVESIHCODRUM. When the message is read from right to left, it reads, MURDOCHISEVIL. The Sunday Telegraph is owned by Murdoch’s News Corp.
The insult was tucked into the “Harry the Dog: Newshound” word search for kids, among other words such as rhinoceros, dolphin and tree kangaroo.
It’s not clear who first spotted the jab at the media magnate, but the Sydney Morning Herald, a competing newspaper, had some fun with the discovery.
“So was it a mistake? A coincidence? Is a “LIVESIHCODRUM” a new Indonesian species? Or was Harry the Dog trying to tell us something?” they asked.
The newspaper and News Corp. did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
