(BEIRUT) -- A suicide bombing in southern Beirut Tuesday morning has left at least four people dead, according to state media.
The blast took place outside an apartment building in a residential neighborhood that is known as a stronghold for the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah. Structural damages were reported.
The Syrian al Qaeda-linked group Jabhat al-Nusra quickly claimed responsibility for the attack, saying in a statement that the bombing was revenge for Hezbollah's "massacres of civilians and children in Syria."
