(LONDON) -- Eleven people are believed to be dead after a Russian cargo plane crashed in a remote far Eastern region of the country, BBC News reports.
The Antonov-12 plane was found in the Magadan region, 120 miles from Omsukchan village, after it went missing early Tuesday.
Reports indicate that one of the plane’s four engines caught fire shortly after takeoff.
Nine crew members and two passengers were on board, according to officials.
