(LONDON) -- Talks are set to commence among representatives for the Group of Seven (G7) industrialized nations.
In the Eurozone, the downgrade of the U.S. credit rating has sparked real concern. Growth remains tenuous in Italy and Spain, and controversy still surrounds the bailout of Greece, Ireland, and Portugal.
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is calling for coordination between the G7 nations, although the timing and level of contact is yet to be decided.
