(LAGHMAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan) -- A suicide attacker wearing an Afghan army uniform detonated his vest at the entrance of a joint Afghan/coalition base in the eastern province of Laghman on Saturday, killing at least four Afghan soldiers and five international troops. The identities of the coalition soldiers have not yet been released.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
In a similar attack on Friday, a suicide bomber wearing an Afghan police uniform blew himself up inside police headquarters, killing the Kandahar police chief.
