Frigid European Temps Cause Famed Statue to Hold It In

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(BRUSSELS) -- A deadly cold snap in Europe has caused at least one lighthearted complication: a famous bronze statue-fountain in Brussels, Belgium that depicts a young boy urinating can no longer go with the flow.

RT.com reports caretakers of the statue, a huge tourist attraction known as the "Manneken-Pis," had to shut down its water supply, due to fears that the near-zero temps in Brussels might damage the beloved statue's "inner mechanisms."

The statue, which was designed back in 1618, is expected to resume operations when temperatures rise.
