(LONDON) -- The Duke of Cambridge was in action early Sunday morning as he helped rescue Russian seamen after their cargo vessel sank in the Irish Sea off the coast of North Wales.
BBC News reports that Prince William, who also holds the title as Flight Lt. William Wales in the Royal Air Force, co-piloted the mission that was launched shortly after responded to a mayday call around 2 a.m. that reported a ship was hit by an "enormous wave" off the North Wales coast.
Two men were saved early Sunday morning. One person died and five are still missing, according to BBC News.
