(TORONTO) -- Toronto Mayor Rob Ford wasn't a passenger on the wagon very long.
The Star reported Tuesday that someone filmed the embattled mayor after he apparently had one too many drinks during a visit Monday night at the Steak Queen restaurant in Rexdale, Ontario. The video was subsequently posted on YouTube.
Excessive drinking has been Ford's downfall even as he seeks reelection this year following an admission that he smoked crack cocaine.
The Toronto mayor has previously insisted that he was now sober but the video showed otherwise as Ford rambled and slurred his speech.
However, while admitting Tuesday that he had been drinking, his excuse now is that whatever he does on his personal time is his own business.
Ford responded "No, no, no, no" when asked if he drove himself to the restaurant or whether he had been taking drugs that night.
