Two American Service Members Dead In Iraq
Jupiterimages/Thinkstock(BAGHDAD) -- Two U.S. service members died in Iraq on Monday in what U.S. Central Command described as separate and “non-hostile” incidents, bringing the number of American soldiers who have died or been killed in the country this month to four.
The latest incident occurred in central Iraq.
Earlier Monday, the military said another soldier died in a non-hostile incident in northern Iraq. An investigation into that incident is currently underway, officials said. The name of the deceased has not yet been released.
On Saturday, two American service members died in Iraq when enemy forces attacked their unit with what U.S. Central Command called indirect fire.
