Two ISAF Troops Die in Separate Incidents in Afghanistan

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(KABUL, Afghanistan) -- Two service members from NATO's International Security Assistance Force have died in Afghanistan, NATO announced on Wednesday.

One soldier was killed on Wednesday after coming under attack by an improvised explosive device, or IED, in southern Afghanistan.  Another died from a non-battle related injury in the eastern part of the country on Tuesday.

Per ISAF policy, the identification of both service members has been deferred to national authorities.
