US Airways Flight Diverted to Dublin After Crew Illness

Justin Sullivan/Getty Images(DUBLIN) -- A US Airways flight bound for Philadelphia was diverted to Dublin on Saturday after several flight attendants reported medical issues.

Flight 715 was en route from Venice, Italy when the incident occured. Medical professionals are evaluating the crew members, according to a statement from US Airways spokeswoman Michelle Mohr.

No passengers or pilots reported any symptoms, and customers are being accommodated on other flights to the United States.

Nine flight attendants were transported to a local hospital, though not all said they felt ill. Complaints included nausea, running eyes, and dizziness.
