A Call to Action
Since he left office in 1981, President Jimmy Carter has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, founded a center to address global public policy and written 28 books. He considers his latest one the most important he's ever written. It's called "A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence, and Power." ABC's Steve Osunsami met up with President Carter in Atlanta to get the details.

Receiving the Medal of Honor
Last week, former Army Sergeant Kyle White was recognized by President Obama with the Medal of Honor. White received the nation's highest award for military valor after risking his life in Afghanistan to save the life of former Specialist Kain Schilling. During a four-hour battle, White was wounded, incurred two concussions and ran through direct enemy fire multiple times. He and Specialist Schilling sit down with ABC News Chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl to tell us more.

Going Gluten-Free

People who suffer from Celiac disease are unable to eat gluten without damaging their digestive tract. But there are others who avoid gluten for entirely different reasons. Going gluten-free has celebrity advocates, legions of fans and a multi-billion dollar industry, but is giving it up actually a good thing for most people? ABC's Terry Moran fills us in on the details.

A Magic Pill?
What if there was one pill that could radically suppress your appetite and help shed pounds? It sounds like a classic "too good to be true" scenario, but some say it's the real deal. There is a catch though. You have to go abroad to get it. From ABC's partner network Fusion, here's investigative correspondent Marianna van Zeller.

Barbara Walters Retires
And will that interview with Shelly Sterling be Barbara Walters' last? The iconic journalist retired this week after more than half a century on the air. To commemorate her career, Walt Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger renamed ABC News Headquarters in New York "The Barbara Walters Building." ABC's Aaron Katersky sat down with Walters to discuss her next chapter.

Boko Haram
It's been more than three weeks since nearly 300 schoolgirls were kidnapped in eastern Nigeria. The Muslim extremist group Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the kidnappings, but other Muslim leaders have criticized the organization for using Islamic teachings as justification for threatening to sell the girls into slavery. ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross has more the group and its leader.

Human Chandelier Accident
An accident at the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus in Rhode Island last weekend left several performers injured. The act had acrobats hanging by their hair over the arena before a faulty piece of equipment caused them to crash to the ground.
