Nightline Podcast - February 22nd, 2011

In tonight’s episode, ABC’s Bill Weir takes an in-depth look at the Foxconn factory and its workers. Foxconn is the biggest Chinese supplier of Apple’s popular electronic products like the iPhone and iPad, but what’s going on inside the factories has been raising eyebrows. The young, working-class employees spend long hours in the factory, for little pay. Nets have been erected outside the factory, in order to prevent employee suicides. Despite it all, thousands of Chinese workers line up for a chance to work at Foxconn.
