Remembering Dick Clark
Dick Clark brought music and happiness into American living rooms on his TV program American Bandstand. For four decades, he was the voice counting down the new year. This week he suffered a heart attack and passed away at the age of 82. Here's ABC's Bill Weir.
Meet the Romneys
And now to politics, where presidential candidate Mitt Romney made campaign stops in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio and Kentucky this week. Both Romney and President Obama are ramping up their fundraising and campaigning efforts, and ABC's Diane Sawyer sat down with Ann and Mitt Romney to find out more about the candidate and his wife.
The Candidates' Likability
A new poll this week shows President Obama and Governor Mitt Romney in a dead heat. Historically, Americans elect the president they feel is most likable, but could this be the year that personal popularity is not the reason we vote? ABC's David Muir has the details.
Jerry Sandusky: The Book
Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is awaiting trial on 52 counts of sexually assaulting boys. In the months since the scandal broke Penn State says it has strengthened its policies about the supervision of minors who take part in activities on campus. However, a new book about the case says the university still has a way to go before it changes the culture that led to the alleged abuse. ABC's Aaron Katersky spoke to the book's authors.
Al-Qaeda Activity Online
For about two weeks in late March and early April, a series of cyber-attacks took down five of the worlds leading Islamic jihadist websites, and that resulted in virtual silence from Al-Qaeda for the longest period since the 9/11 attacks. ABC's Christiane Amanpour has more.
Extreme Weightloss Diet
Many brides-to-be are finding a new way to lose weight. It sounds like something straight out of a hospital -- spending up to ten days attached to a feeding tube. ABC's Yunji de Nies spoke with one of the diet's satisfied customers to find out more.
Mama's Boy
Due to tradition and the economy, almost 40-percent of Italian men in their early 30's live with their moms. That percentage is much lower in America, where such an arrangement can be a red flag to ladies down at the singles bar, but it does still exist. ABC's Juju Chang spoke to one so-called *mama's boy* in New York.
Mega-winners
The last of the Mega Millions winners came forward this week to claim their share of the biggest jackpot in lottery history. The couple, who have lived in Red Bud, Illinois all their lives, won with a 3-dollar quickpick ticket. As ABC's Ryan Owens reports, their quiet lives could be in for a big change.
Kathy Ireland: Supermodel/Supermogul
She's the model who beat out Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, and Christy Brinkley for the best selling cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. But these days you're more likely to find her in the board room than in a bikini, after creating a 2-billion dollar brand. ABC's David Wright has the details.
Host: Cheri Preston
Producer: Colin Tipton
